THE WORD IS OUT!
Townspeople and guests tell us that “we are known for
our food!” We serve 15 different, mouth-watering,
multi-course breakfasts, and will try to accommodate
special diets, or food concerns, with advance notice.
“I like the host, the food, the house, and the
backyard. And there is a piano you can play…It’s really
close to Colorado School of Mines, my current school. My
parents will definitely come back anytime they visit
me.”
“LOVE THIS PLACE! Not only does the host make you
feel at home, but you really feel like it’s YOUR HOME.
You are free to roam around, read a book, make yourself
a cup of tea or coffee, and the backyard is awesome!”…
“This 19th century home was more than a B&B…The house
is a beautiful home, with antiques abroad. The rooms
provide a sense of comfort & coziness.”
“Walking in Pansy’s, made me think of the “good old
days,” and I was sad to leave.”
”The hosts are very accommodating, and they welcome
children…the best part is the breakfast. Fresh eggs,
fresh, homemade breads, fresh coffee, and fresh flowers
at your table. Need I say more?”
“Thank you Judy, for your hospitality, your kindness,
and the warmth you provided. We will be back!”
“Thank you very much for the valuable information
about this historic home, the family, and most of all
your hospitality. The LUNCHEON was terrific!” (Golden
Visitor Center Coordinator)…”Thanks for the tour and
great lunch!”…”Thanks for such a special time.” (Visitor
Center Volunteers)
“Dear Judy and John, Thank you so much for the use of
your beautiful home and garden for our WEDDING! It was
WONDERFUL! We look forward to our next stay!”
“Thank you so much for your special care and
attention. As before, I enjoyed my stay. See you next
time!”
| ”The BRIDESMAIDS’ LUNCHEON you provided for my
daughter was so appreciated! Everyone loved the food,
the lovely garden setting, and of course the charming
parlor.” “I’m just an old man, who has eaten breakfasts in New
York, California, London and Ireland bed & breakfasts,
and let me tell you, your breakfasts are my favorite!”
“I enjoyed your lovely house, (but unfortunately NO
GHOSTS). Thanks for your “modified” breakfasts for
meeting the strange tastes of an Italian like me”
